Purpose: The scope of this position is twofold: one is weekly administration of website and membership – activity (2-4 hours per week) and two, provide services to the Board of Directors as an ad hoc board member/volunteer.
- Administration of Website, Membership Activity & other administrative duties:
- Maintains member & bicycle industry data base (bike shop owners, city planners, law enforcement, legislators, etc.)
- Sends out dues renewal notices and reminders to join
- Monitors content of website and Facebook daily
- Post website and Facebook content as directed by board & committee members
- Directs emails & comments to proper committee/board members
- Develops and maintains automated dues payment feature
- Responsible for formatting and sending out quarterly electronic newsletter
- Coordinates special projects by securing volunteer expertise for:
- Board of Director Liability coverage
- IRS application for 501c3 status and submits fees
- Maintains a secure filing system for Coalition documents
- File annual report to Secretary of State
- Maintains copies of all bills and receipts
- Files all contractual arrangement; policies, vendor agreements, etc.
- Reviews and keep copies of bank statement
- Volunteer Board Services
- Attends board meetings & conference calls
- Serves on Administrative Team Committee
- Keeps board informed of administrative issues and concerns as well as website upgrade needs
- Oversees Website Development Projects as directed by board
- Solicits proposals for website development projects
- Assist in selection of project providers
- Oversees project duties and timetable
- Assist in testing and going live with new website features
- Provides board meetings with various reports
